Just mid build - The checkpoint voltage checks (which are a great idea ) are all a bit high . Voltage on 300b is 5.4 and on small tubes is 6.81 . Line voltage 242 and built 235-245 version.

I'm guessing this will shorten tube life a little ? any other problems likely ?

Hi Simon,

At this stage in the build those numbers are OK, since it's more of a functionality check than an operating point check. When you get the amp complete and drawing some plate current as well as the filament current, measure those numbers again. They could drop a little.
