Hi,
Can I use Slow-Blow fuses on my Bottlehead amps (S3X and C2A). I was looking to put this one:: "Littelfuse 0285002.HXP" instead of the stock fuses it came with.

$11 plus shipping for a fuse? YIKES!

If it pays for happiness...

From the data sheet -
This fuse is designed specifically for audio
and medical applications
-
The two most important applications.

I'm not pursuing an expensive hobby, I'm buying medical equipment to work on my wellbeing.
Research has shown that blood flows more easily when music is played. It can also reduce heart rate, lower blood pressure, decrease cortisol (stress hormone) levels and increase serotonin and endorphin levels in the blood. It elevates mood. Studies also suggest it can ease pain, enhance aerobic exercise, and improve cognition and memory.

he he .. you just gave me an interesting idea on how to write off the money I spent on audio equipment.. Dont you think the "Church of Triodes" should also be 100% tax exempt? :) :)
Btw I got the fuses today. Going all placebo effect over the weekend :)

Doc B. will have to tell the story about the Church of the Cathode Follwers.
-
I wish I could find a link to the original story. In a nutshell, a radio technician in the army got out of having to go to early morning Sunday church service by filling out a form declaring that he was not a Christian but rather a Cathode Follower. Word got around to the other techs and they all started sending in the form as well. Which resulted in someone looking up what a cathode follower was and the whole crew getting put on KP for a month.
