Secondary side transformer wiring

Hi all, the manual (page 20) tells me to twist the green wires on the transformer together and connect to terminals 1 and 2.  However my transformer doesn't have leads, just terminals.  What terminals on the transformer am I wiring to terminal strip connections 1 and 2?

Oh, tip for others I found that a hemostat makes a nice heatsink to avoid melting the power switch.

Last, I'm glad I took the advise of others and bought the Cardas Quad Eutectic solder... very smooth stuff.

Shoot, when I converted to manual to PDF recently I probably left out the sheet of updates for the later transformer. The green wires on the old transformer were connected to the heater secondary, which corresponds to the terminals labeled 6.3VAC on the new transformer.

Doc,

Congrats on the conversion.  I thought the Seduction would remain a paper manual.  I am, gladly, wrong.  I know the time it takes you to put together the manuals so I applaud your efforts.

BTW, for those who will look for them, the last time I looked Radio Shack still sold hemostats.

My transformer came labeled a little funny. the label is on the non-solder-lugged side and upside down. Im assuming it is physically the same orientation as the one above but wanted to double check.

All I can say is, it will be interesting to see who fesses up to putting that label on. Just put it on the other side so that the all the terminals line up with an arrowhead and you will be good.

It's funny, I actually prefer having a paperback version of the manual,  It made for a substantially easier build by checking off each step as I completed it. 

(no printer, so laptop was the only option with the crack and foreplay builds.)

I would even pay more for them if paper versions are available with future purchases.

Yes, that is for sure. ;^) At some point we have to consider efficiency, and it is much more efficient and cost effective to burn CDs than to print, fold and staple manuals. Actually by this time I had hoped that we would have the manuals online and available for download to customers who have ordered a kit. Unfortunately there seems to be a problem with getting our site moved to a web host that can handle this.

I used my iPad when building my Crack. It was great, because I could easily blowup pictures to get a better look.

The order confirmation is automatically generated by the shopping cart software, so that is not possible. We will get the option to download the manuals upon purchase working. I am attempting to set aside April as the month in which we get our website migrated to a new host so we can offer more of these types of features.

Grainger and I were just discussing the file size limits of email with most ISPs.  Wouldnt have been a viable option anyway.
