Title: resistance check - terminal 9
Post by: kvh on September 25, 2010, 05:42:26 AM
probably foolish question.. resistance reading at 6 9 (nine) is not fluctuation, just showing around 1.6R.. voltage readings seem ok.. i don't have a turntable setup at the moment, just going through this and checking it again after it's been unused for a while.

thanks,
mk

T6 is the top, +, of the heater supply.  If the reading is steady the capacitor is charged.

Are you reading 1.6 ohms to ground?  You should have a high reading to ground unless the tubes are in.  The resistance readings are with the tubes removed.

T9 and T6 are virtually the same spot.  What I said applies.
