Title: Reduction no sound
Post by: Nerfe on December 25, 2013, 06:29:22 PM
Hi, I've being enjoying the reduction for a while, last day I decided to righten the RCA because they were somewhat loose, after i did there's no sound.
I already check the voltages and resistance and all are under tolerance, any idea what could have happened?

Thanks for the help

Sounds like you need to resolder the joints on the RCAs.

If the solder joints on the jacks are solid, measure the resistance across each jack (center pin to ground) to ensure that the jacks themselves aren't shorted.

Based upon your description the problem should be at the RCA jacks you tightened. Either something broke loose when it twisted or some wires crossed and shorted. If you don't see anything obvious try comparing the photos from the manual with your wiring. Something may show up that you haven't noticed yet.
