**Edit** I had attached the - lead to T1U and not H1  :-[
I think my resistance numbers look good now. Off to voltage check

Finished soldering the amp. I passed all initial tests leading up to and through the glowing tubes test. I think the soldering went smoothly and on first inspection, things seem to be in the right place.

I am on to the resistance check and have been having some issues. My multi passed the continuity test. I set the multi to 2000.  I clipped the Black connector to H1. If I touch the screw connected to H1 I get a bump in resistance and then it settles back to 0.  However, I get no reading when I touch the PT ground tab or T1-14. No jump in reading. Literally, no response from the multi. At 2000, I do get 829 at T15. No response from T16-28. I do get 216 at T30u-T31U. 580 at T32U and then no response until 216 at H2. 387 at H3. 582 at H4. 216 at H5. 387 at H6. 582 at H7. No response on H8. No response on the RCA jacks at pin or ground.

A couple things to mention. As you can see, I did anodize the chassis, but I also sanded the areas to remove the anodizing where it was mentioned. Perhaps I didn’t remove enough somewhere?

The second issue is I ran out of CAT5e (don’t ask) and bought some online. I used this for the headphone and RCA connections on the right side. The cable looked the same as was supplied with the kit, including a drain wire.

Those are the only two issues with the build that I encountered. Any thoughts?
(I will try to attach a compatible pic shortly)

Do you have a lower setting on your meter? Maybe 200 or even 20

You may not have a good connection at H1. Try measuring from one of the other ground points like one next to the power connection
