Title: Y-Cable and Input Loading
Post by: karl on August 14, 2012, 11:45:09 AM
I would like to use a y-cable or Audioquest-type y-splitter on my Quickie in order to split an input so that my powered sub can receive the signal from my source. Does such a splitter change the impedence seen by the input of the Quickie?

Regards,

Karl

I do just that with the output of my Foreplay 2.  Splitting the input will not allow the sub to follow the volume setting on the Quickie.

My sub has a high input impedance that doesn't affect the frequency response when in parallel with the input of my Paramours.
