Soldering the tabs on the transformer leaving an ugly joint

I switched to a chisel tip that doesn't look as good (tinned) as my conical tip so this may be a confounder, but I haven't seen joints form like this with anything else I've played around with before starting this crack assembly.

The transformer tabs have a yellow tinge to them, which is shown below. Should I reflow these? Could this be the finish melting with the solder and flux?

It's just the varnish on the tabs. If you have good continuity it's nothing to worry about.

Those joints look great!  If the rest of your build is that solid, you'll have a great sounding amp.
