Hello! I am selling my pair of Blumenstein Orca's in natural bamboo (numbers 420 & 421) to fund the purchase of birch Orca's and Dungeness. The speakers were purchased in May 2013 and have approximately 500-600 hours on them, so they are really starting to shine! The speakers are in perfect condition- no scratches, blemishes, scuffs, etc.- and they haven't been pushed too hard or otherwise abused.

To be clear, I absolutely love my Orca's and I am only selling them in order to make the switch to birch. I'm asking for a firm price of $499, and the buyer will be responsible for the shipping cost (although, I am happy to pay for the shipping insurance). Also, rest assured that the utmost care will be exercised in packaging the speakers for shipping!

Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.

Thanks,
James Corbett

James,

Did you Ok this ad through Dan?  That is one of the rules.

If so, good price and you will get a buyer.

Wow those sold fast!  Whoever bought your naturals with so many healthy burn in hours got lucky!  Your new Birch models will break in to sound very similar FYI.

Its great that you've saved up for a Dungeness.  It will really complete the picture.  Lately some customers have emailed us some impressively flat RTA readoffs in small rooms...down to the low 30's.  But the measurements can't even hint at the musically important microdynamics and overall integration of the combo.

Ok...back to making sawdust!

Cheers!

Clark

Just wanted to say I'm real lying enjoying the Orca's in a nearfield arrangement with my Stereomour.  The SEX with CS4 boards still sounds fantastic too, and I'll need more time to compare their signatures and difference in ability.
