Doc,

Thanks for posting this.  I passed the link on to all the students in my lab (graduate students in a neuroscience program) as they often seem to have oscilloscope questions.

(puts old curmudgeon hat on...)
 These damn kids aren't used to turning knobs, just clicking on fake buttons with a mouse on these newfangled computer gizmos...
(... off with the curmudgeon getup).
