Good morning everyone,
I'm going to replace the sweetest whispers attenuators and selector switch in my EFP3 with some Goldpoints. The stock selector switch seems to be a 3 pole, 3 position. I see in the archives that PJ recommended a 4 pole 3 position. Why the extra pole?

Regards,
John

Both the hot and the cold of each channel is switched, to reduce popping. Thus you need four poles. The stock selector switch is a four pole three position switch.
