Title: Speedball Voltage Check Short?
Post by: lickitysplit09 on January 14, 2014, 07:51:58 PM
Hi Bottlehead members,

I recently did my speedball upgrade but had some troubles at the end of my build. I believe I shorted the LED at pin A8 while I was doing my voltage check. Please see below the voltages while I was doing my initial voltage check and afterward to see if you can help identify possible causes. Thanks in advance for the help!

Yes, it looks like you damaged an LED.

FWIW, if they are glowing, there is 1.5V across them.  We have removed this voltage check entirely from the newest revision of the Crack manual.

Thanks for the help. Is there a way I can order this through Bottlehead? I am a local in Bellevue.
