Title: Bent capacitor.
Post by: Zabens on December 04, 2022, 08:11:19 AM
Hi forum!
I recently sold a BHC to a user through head-fi and when it arrived he said it wasn't working properly. It looks like one of the capacitors bent during shipping. The left channel was out and the headphone jack and small tube were creating a lot of feedback when touched as well as a lot of noise in general. He re-bent the capacitor to where it was but whisps of smake came up through the back vent. Does anybody have any experience with this? I appreciate any feedback.

How many of these steps did you follow for shipping?

I have no idea what a bent capacitor would mean, and without seeing pictures it's anybody's guess.
