Title: No left channel
Post by: ArtnShit on November 02, 2022, 05:00:36 PM
Hi,

I just finished the build and passed all of the resistance and voltage checks. I then installed Sowter 1990s in 1:20 setups.

Everything sounds totally fine on the right channel, but there is nothing on the left channel. Are there any main areas I should inspect first? How should I go about finding the error?

Thanks in advance

Did you listen to the Eros without the step-up transformers first? Yes, the level will be low, but that would be a good way to verify that the base build is properly working.

I did not, unfortunately.

Here are some pics of the input installation. Other than that, I know the boards should be soldered well cuz I have reflowed all of them in my previous attempts to fix voltage.

Thank you

You may have solder connecting the center of that RCA jack to the shell, and that would short that channel and not let anything through.
