Hi there

just finished teo Kaijus and using them for quite a while in my active speaker setup - never ever used the input potentiometers to adjust volume - just about to finish my third one and would like to do it without using the input potentiometers if possible.

Did anyone remove or bypass these pots?

How to wire without the potentiometers? Anything I should be aware off?

It would be great to get some guideance and advice how to build the Kaiju without input potemtiometers.

I would like to use these huge RIKE AUDIO 10uF S-Cap 2 types - I am very curious to hear my third Kaiju using those huge caps...😜

Looking forward to read from my fellow Bottleheads...🤗

Thamk you & all the best wishes from Switzerland, Chris

Hello Chris,

You'll need a pair of 100K resistors if you want to leave the pots off.  You can install them across the RCA jacks.

Hi Chris,

I was curious as to what sonic differences you've noticed between your (mostly) stock Kaiju and your fully modded Kaiju. What's your experience been?

Thanks!

Chris,

Just saw your profile and saw you have the rather elusive Silvercore 833s.. How does this amp compare to the Kaiju? Always been intrigued by the 833 but it also seems to bring its fair share of headaches along for the ride (give its high voltages)
