hmmm...I have a Quickie at the office.  Been using it with the Quicksand.  Tired of running batteries through them so this was plan B.  But I'll try the Quickie in front and see how that goes.

Quickie uses a 100k pot but I'm assuming because it also offers gain that would be ok?

Where did you get that box for the Quickie!?  Very nicely done.  And the attenuator on the Camp Amp - what did you use?

Cheers if you have a Quickie do give it a try it would be really interesting for comparison with the Quicksand.

The ACA attenuator is a Valab 23 step 100k (its was just what I had to hand in my parts box) The Quickie box was a real pain its just some coloured veneers glued to a mdf. It took ages to cut and glue the strips and I got fed up and left it on a number of occasions. Its one of those things that looks good from far, but is far from good.

Shoot for the moon if you miss you will still be amongst the stars!
