Title: Installing 33K and 75K resistors to volume pot (no lines on resistors)[resolved]
Post by: Colonl_Charisma on November 14, 2020, 10:30:33 AM
Hi all,

I received my 33K and 75K RN55D resistors from Digi-Key. My Crack (no Speedball) is very loud even at low volumes + a little channel imbalance until I increase the volume. I saw FAQ #3 provides a solution, but I’m unsure of the correct orientation of the resistors since there are no lines on them.

Unable to post pictures at the moment, but the resistors are just brown with numbers indicating what they are.

Resistors don't have an orientation or direction. Just stick them in where Paul indicates in FAQ #3 and you'll be good to go.

cheers, Derek

Thank you! Thought I’d make sure before I did anything.

Just installed the resistors, let the tubes warm, and played some music. Everything sounds great!
