Hi all,
I am assembling my crack, it's not quite finished. Before connecting the B+ to the amp, I thought I'd check it first to be sure it's wired correctly. It seems to be but I get 235 VDC at the output (across the 270k resistor), I expected 170 VDC.
The transformer secondaries before wiring measured 155VAC.
Am I good to go? Will the 235 VDC draw down to 170 VDC with the tube load? Thanks.

What is the first instruction on the voltage check page?

What is the second instruction on the voltage check page?

Instructions are provided to give desired results...
