Title: Mainline voltage check failed [resolved]
Post by: Happy Ghost on September 16, 2023, 04:08:18 PM
Hello All,

Can someone help me debug Breg voltage problem I am facing. So I passed all the resistance checks. Nothing remarkable except that terminals 19 and 30 read steady at 215.4 Kilo ohms and 208.8 kilo ohms. But after powering up first thing i noticed is that the LED's on the B-side of the C4S board connected to C-socket do not light up. All my voltages seems to be in spec (on a 120VAC connection) except for B-reg regulator board. These are the values I am reading.

+275VDC on Power Supply Board      274.7V
+6.3VDC on power supply board        57.7V
-6.3VDC on the power supply board    51.5V

IA on the A-side C4S board                274.3V
IA on the B side C4S Board                274.1V

Breg Regulator board:                       216V (A-side), 156.3V (B-side)

-reg regulator board                          0V both side

Kreg regulator board                         9.88V and 11.34V

I have posted some build pics also.

Thanks in advance!

OA should not be wired to OB on the high current C4S board.

dang! this was such a blunder from my part .. careless  :'(

thank you for pointing this straight away PB! after fixing the glitch, everything is in spec now.. it is running now and sounding very good.. thank you once again!

An easy fix is a good fix.
