You can heat up the + pad at the 6.3V pads on the PC board, then remove the red wire.  Next, measure that voltage again and see if it pops up to 6.3V.

Hi Paul,

I removed the red wire, and measured again. The voltage is still at 5.34V.

There is an error on that green power supply PC board.  It is still most likely solder joints, but you'll want to triple check everything.  The voltage that comes out of there is set by a pair of 1% resistors, and will be very, very close to 6.3V.   If there is anybody in your area who works on electronics, a second set of eyes can be very helpful.
