Hello to all - first post for me here.  Long time guitar player / tube guitar amp builder who is quickly becoming a headphone hi-fi enthusiast.

In anticipation of the Crack amplifier I have on order, I'd like to build a nice custom box for it.  Can anyone post the exact dimensions of the aluminum plate?  I saw one online that had a drawer for headphone storage that looked phenomenal - that's where I'm headed.  My current setup is FLAC from laptop into Fiio E17/E9K DAC/amp with Senn HD580s.  If the Crack sounds better than what I have currently I'll be a very happy man.   :)

Hope this helps,

Thanks a lot for the dimensions.  Sorry I didn't thank you earlier but it looks like I didn't turn on email notifications when someone replied to this thread.  I think I checked to see if the delivery status page was updated about five times today.  Yes, it was updated today but no apparent progress on Crack amp shipments.  Oh well, I'll survive.

A ton of Crack amps have shipped in the past week or so and about 20 more will ship tomorrow.

Thanks Doc, don't get me wrong - I'm not whining, just excited.   :)  Next time I'm in Seattle I'll have to stop in for a visit.  I must have been close last time since I visited the Sage fishing rod factory on Bainbridge.

May I know the dimension of the whole wood box after assemble? It looks not quite small, not sure whether it can easily stand on my DAC :-)

Thanks a lot!
