I've built several BH kits over the years. I have one issue, just don't care for the supplied knobs. Just got these from Mouser for my new Moreplay.
What's your verdict?

Bakelite knobs are extremely traditional for tube gear.

I have to be honest, I think the supplied knobs look perfect with your top plate and bell. Very sharp!

I think a black glossy knob works well with what you have.

I also like the black knobs better with your color scheme.

Thanks for the responses. I happily accept being in the minority. As they say, different strokes for different folks. I think the Bottlehead community and forum is the best.

Absolutely, beauty in the eye of the beholder ..... I wouldn't want it any other way. Enjoy your kit!

Yes, I'd go with black on black. I might also like silver with silver top and bell. I'd have to see what that looks like. Also depends on your other BH kit colours. My Crack is silver with black knob but I have the bell in chestnut, which is the best colour I could find to match the rosewood base (stain on the alder).
