I'm in the process of building an entertainment center and will be integrating a turntable, basic Yamaha amplifier and L,R, C speakers. I'm considering a U-Turn audio turntable and I'm wanting to build a preamp for it. I'm trying to replicate a retro styling to everything and think a DIY phono preamp will fit the part. Is the Reduction Phono Preamplifier Kit a good choice or should I consider something else. Thanks!

Go with the Reduction.  Assuming a MM cartridge, it will far exceed the capabilities of the equipment you have listed.  I know of nothing else in the market that is as good for the price.
