Wondering if an ifi zen dac would work with a Bottlehead Crack to stream music. If so, what is the best way to connect these?

Hello,
Yes, the iFi Zen DAC only has one input, USB, so the audio chain would look like this:
PC → USB cable → iFi Zen DAC → RCA cables → Bottlehead Crack → headphones
Then you can use any streaming service that you have on your PC and enjoy the music. Cheers :)

I use an xDuoo X10T II to feed a couple of my DAC's. It is great if you have alot of ripped FLAC or DSD (which I do). It connects to the DAC by USB and can be controlled by Bluetooth with it's own app. Works really well, but it is not a streamer. They call it a "digital turntable" for a reason. Long battery life to boot.

Thanks larcenasb and Mucker! I had been using the ifi zen dac as both the amp and dac with Sennheiser HD800S temporarily until I found the right amp. I just connected the Bottlehead Crack and, wow, what a difference. It sounds amazing!

You're welcome! Ah, yeah, the extra power and tube magic from the Bottlehead is a great step up. Enjoy!
