Title: What sized voltage transformer?
Post by: pshinn on May 06, 2012, 03:05:37 AM
First post! I've been following the forums here for a few months, ordered a crack kit and am about to
start a build. I'm stoked to say the least. I'm building in the states and then moving to East Asia. I ordered it with a 240v transformer
since I'll be overseas for a couple of years. While I'm here I'll need to use it with a step up/step down voltage transformer for 110v power. What is the minimum sized step up/step down voltage transformer in watts that I'll need with the crack? I don't want to spend a lot since it's only temporary. I guess another way of asking would be, how many watts does a crack need to function? Any ideas? Thanks.

Here is a list of equipment I own.  The Crack is most like the Eros.  The Eros only uses 35 Watts.  So a 50 Watt transformer is sufficient.
