How the heck did the four of us who worked on this kit all fail to notice that we didn't have knobs listed on the packing list? Crikey.
They will go out in the mail Monday.

It happens. It's frustrating but it happens. If that's the worst thing that goes wrong the planet will remain on it's axis and current trajectory.

And all the electrical engineers shrug their shoulders...not my department :)
-
Fortunately, they're the last thing one installs and the amps will work perfectly fine without them.

Hello
I was wondering if the rubber rings that used to go at the base of the 300b in the version one are not included anymore for the version2. There is no more need for them?
Thanks

On a similar note, I have lead flask rings on top of the 300b's on the BeePre. Will the BeePre 2 have an issue with microphonics and need weights on the tubes also?
Thanks

Neither the lead rings nor the o-rings are partiuclarly useful with the BeePre 2. There's no harm in using them if you happen to have them.

I can hit the top plate of my prototype and hardly hear any microphonics with headphones on. Just the expected filament noise. It’s a significant improvement over the Beepre. I tried it with Herbies rings and the lead weights and didn't hear any noticeable improvement. The weights now sit on a few transformers.

What diameter were the o ring used in the first model?
-
They were about 1-1/4" OD. Ultimately you'll get slightly better pin fitment into the sockets without them, and that for me would outweigh the non-existent benefit of using them in a BeePre 2.
-
Yes, I would not bother with the O-rings either.
-
The O-ring is a Silicone O-ring size -214 (dash 214)
