Title: Kaiju Build Done
Post by: bombay317 on February 15, 2018, 05:11:56 PM
I finished my build.  Everything is working, but I plan on doing some nerdy things to it :)

It was a lot of fun so far and took 22 hours to build.  I build the DC filament but have not installed it yet into the system.

If I can find the time I am going to make a Bode diagram of this amp to share with everyone.

That's quite the hefty load box you have there!

Haha, yes it is super oversized power wise, but I grabbed what was easily available and made 8 ohms. Then I just wired them and put them in a project box.

Even at max power output from the amp at 8W, that would be 2W per resistor. There is margin for sure.
