Hello, before I had searched the forum on screws too short I sanded a few fiber washers to allow me to catch the threads on plate chokes and on main transformer.....after reading that  larger screws are okay should I reinstall with new fiber washers? or is it not a problem?
Thanks

It depends upon whether you sanded the shoulder off the fiber washer, or just sanded the flat side. If the shoulder has been sanded off, the insulating function of the washer has been defeated and they would need to be replaced. If you just sanded the flat side and the shoulder is unaltered they are OK.
