First time Crack builder here and I've run into an issue I can't seem to solve. I'm on the Power Transformer Seceondary Test and it keeps reading 0 volts. I've gone over the soldering twice now and it continues to read 0 volts. I'm not sure what I've done wrong. To add to this I redid the first test, Powerline Voltage Test, and that is also reading 0 volts now too.

Did you check that the fuse is in place and not blown?

The fuse is blown, the middle part is missing. Do you have an idea of how I might have blown it?

Do you know what kind of fuse i should buy? I know the manual say 1a fuse, but what size should I buy/what brand would you reccomend?

If you have the fuse in the square box it is not in the circuit. That is a spare fuse holder. Make sure it is in the bottom clip. Fuses blow because there is a short to ground. If you have the fuse in the clip then post pictures of your build and maybe someone will spot the problem.

It's hard to tell with certainty from your photos, but when you read "attach" in the manual, it means pass the wire through the hole and at least bend it up against the face of the terminal so there's a place for the solder to go.
What kind of solder and what kind of iron are you using?

I'm using a 40 watt soldering iron and 60/40 solder like the manual recommended

The power switch looks a bit 'melty' as well... may need a new one and watch the video on soldering it without damaging it

Replacing the fuse fixed Powerline Voltage Test. The test is reading 122V, but it's still failing the Power Transformer Secondary Test.

I won't lie the power fuse is a but melty now because I've redone the wiring three times now. It still works, and hopefully will continue to do so, it just looks really bad

I'm not sure what I've done, but it is now passing the Secondary Test. Thank you folks for your help.

I suspect you have some loose solder joints. I would definitely watch the YouTube video if you haven't yet.
