Title: Tenergy batteries
Post by: aragorn723 on May 13, 2017, 04:22:45 PM
Hi,

I want to get some tenergy 9v batteries to run a Quickie.  There are 2 kinds, both with 8.4v nominal voltage, and 200 mAh of current.  Is there an advantage of using one over another?  Below are links to the batteries:

Does anyone have experience with Tenergy?  Are they good?

The low self discharge is an advantage if you won't use the preamp very heavily (say, taking more than three months to put in 50 hours). Otherwise there's no visible difference.

Thanks!  Sounds like the low self discharge is the way to go.
