Title: Headphones for the S.E.X

Hi I consedering open back planar headphones for my new amp. Thinking something in the $500 range. Maybe Grado Hifiman or Audeze. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated

I think I'd start with the HE-400.  They are way, way under your budget, and will give a lot of performance for what's invested.

Thanks the 400i got great reviews, and it's discounted to $250. Will definite put it on my list.
