Title: FAQ help for a n00b
Post by: rjkirkham on November 07, 2017, 08:28:39 AM
N00b assistance requested !

I’m just getting around to trying the channel imbalance fix described in #3 in the Crack FAQ. I’d post a link to it, but apparently it’s an “outside” link and isn’t allowed.

Before I go and mess things up, can someone help me with “Attach and solder one 33K resistor between each outer pair of lugs on each level of the volume pot and the ground lugs on the pot.”? I want to make sure I’m understanding which lugs get soldered to which via the 33k resistors.

Is it solder the upper lug closest to the 9 pin socket to the lower lug closest to the 9 pin socket and repeat for the 2 lugs in the center and the 2 lugs furthest from the 9 pin socket, using one 33k resistor for each connection?

Thanks!

Here's a photo of what you need to do.  It's easier to see the top set of resistors, just do the same thing on the lower set of 3 pot lugs.
