Title: left channel louder than right - faulty pot?
Post by: djspacewhale on January 14, 2018, 06:12:38 PM
so with some help from the forum here, I finished my new stock Crack, and I'm already looking at further upgrades. one thing that's pretty immediately apparent to me is that the left channel is very clearly louder than the right channel. could this be a faulty solder somewhere in the signal chain, or should I look at a replacement pot/attenuator?

Is the channel imbalance only present at low levels?  (To test, plug your phone into the Crack and turn the level way down on your phone, then turn the Crack up)

If so, see Crack FAQ #3/4
