Title: Right channel crackles when changing volume knob
Post by: willemave on January 19, 2018, 07:05:26 PM
When changing the volume the right channel crackles. Tried to replace the potentiometer with an Audio Note 100K, however, the crackling sound persists only in the right channel. I've checkd the resistance from RCA inputs to potentiometer, as well as the resistance through over the tubes and everything seems to line up. I'm sort of the loss, what things should I test or where else can I look?

It could be a bad connection. Reflow all the solder joints.

Can you measure the voltage at terminal 1 while moving the pot around.  Does the voltage move when the Crackling starts?
