Hi all, This will probably be the all to familiar noob question but Im an issue replacing a faulty capacitor on my "Smack" amp. The instructions call it 1 uf z5u/x5u and the numbers on the capacitor read k5u 105m CB51103. I am looking on mouser for a replacement but after research im getting mixed reports about tolerance depending on which ID i utilize. If anyone could help Id love to test this amp out on my new T90's.
Thanks

Tolerance on those capacitors isn't important at all. If you have one with an issue, you could try running the amp without it.

I purchased C440C105Z5U5TA7200 50volts 1uF of Mouser hoping it'll work. These capacitors are running off where the tubes connect into the amp. Should I make the right the same as the left or just replace the one faulty capacitor and call out good?

I'd just replace the one capacitor.
How did you determine that it's faulty?

The ceramic was cracked and flaking off a bit
