Title: Matched Tubes?
Post by: adydula on February 27, 2018, 12:01:50 PM
I think I know the answer but want to make sure...

Are tightly matched tube 6c45p's necessary or desireable in the Mainline?

or

Is the circutry able to bias the tubes with the pot's well enough for good operation?

Thanks
Alex

Thanks Josh...

I guess as a tube ages the more these pots might be tweaked until you can get them to the correct voltage for "optimum" performance.
Thanks again, looking forward to my build!

Normally, with most tubes, there will be some drift over the first 100 hours or so, then the bias drift will be fairly slow as long as the item is in regular use.
