Title: Re: SpeedBall voltage reading not as expected. [Resolved]
Post by: shrapnel on February 28, 2018, 06:19:50 PM
Hi, my voltages for the bigger board are not as expected for terminal OA. Here are the voltages:

OA = 153 V
OB = 117 V
B+ = 203 V
G   =  0.03mV

Also the LED in position D2 on side A does not glow. A side transistor with heat sink is cold to touch. B side is warm to touch. Please help!

Thanks,
S

This can be typical for a bridged or missed solder joint on the large PC board.

Are the voltages OK on the small board up front?

Thank you, I reflowed the connections from the lower lug plates to the big board and it came to life. I must say, I was blown away by the change in sound. It added so much depth to the music. I lived with the standard crack for 1 year before I put in the speedball. It was like hitting the powerband on the Motorcycle at 6k rpm. Fabulous!
