Title: SEX Kit iron upgrade-power supply upgrade

Hello- I have a SEX amplifier purchased and built in 2006. I would like to purchase the upgraded transformers and power supply mods.
Not sure if I have original SEX or 2.1 version. Are any the available upgrades usable on an amplifier this old? How significant a sonic  improvement?

I'm assuming the "power supply upgrades" you speak of is actually the C4S upgrade. I believe that the upgrade kit for your version of S.E.X. amp is out of production.

However, with a little ingenuity and some help from this forum you could probably make this one work.
