How were you inspired and actually made you choose the CAT5 cable for audio?  That's an interesting cable option IMO.  :D

I believe it came from listening to some interconnects made from CAT5.

You also get several pairs that make wiring stuff a little neater and easier...

The first time we heard CAT5 as cable probably was a pair of interconnects that Richard Riley made a zillion years ago. But we're not the only ones to have tried it. You can google a speaker cable design by Chris VenHaus, and probably a bunch of youtubes by others these days.
