Hi!
I've ordered a new pot for my Crack, and I could use a hand (brain?) with figuring out the wiring.
I think I've got it, but I want to make sure.
So I'm waiting for a TKD 2CP601 pot.
I've attached a snapshot of the data sheet, I've made annotations in red for how I think it's supposed to be.
1= In?
2= Out?
C= Ground?
Look alright to you?

Looks correct, just like the stock pots, but those pins are a little more difficult to solder on. You're going dual-mono?
-
Yeah I landed on this one from Hifi Collective.
There are others with solder lugs, pricier and cheaper, but this one was sort of "middle of the road" with regards to price.
I don't think the pcb pins should pose much of a problem.
I'll either just wrap the wire around and crimp it or bend the pins into hooks, we'll see.
Now I'm going to sound quite stupid, dual mono?
I hope not!
The picture in the data sheet just has one set of pins, the one I'm getting has two sets, so I'm hoping that means it's stereo :P
I've attached a photo of it.

Yes, I was going by the first picture. I have both in my SEX amp. First the stereo pot then later added the mono pot (using only one gang of the stereo) for a dual-mono set up for balance.

Oh, didn't realize it's the TKD, those are supposed to be very nice. I just running Alps.
-
They had one they called the Alps Blue "Beauty".
Looked exactly like the Velvet to my eyes, but I wasn't sure so I went with the TKD instead.
They had another TKD, but it cost £80 and that's crossing into more-money-than-sense/shame territory (or better-ears-than-mine territory, alternatively! ;D)
I was just shopping for capacitors really, but I had some PayPal money (or not-really-there money as my brain calls it) left over from a recent sale so I figured I might get a pot while I'm at it.
-or some pot, but it wasn't that sort of establishment (JOKE!)
