Title: How loud is too loud for S.E.X.?

I am using S.E.X. with Klipsch Cornwall and I am not satisfied with the volume if I turn the volume below 12 o’clock. I usually listen at 12 o’clock to 3 o’clock. Is this safe for both amplifier and speaker? I am worried that I might have clipping and damage the tweeters.

The position of the volume control is unrelated to the power the amp puts out. 

You'll hear clipping pretty easily, and a SEX amp should drive Cornwalls to very loud levels with some spare headroom.
