Title: Intermittent high pitched whine in left channel
Post by: samhillt on May 20, 2018, 02:38:00 PM
Hi,

I'm having a small problem with a whine in the left channel. Description

I took some steel wool to the pins to clean, but I'm still hearing it.
Any ideas?

Thanks

You might have to heat up your soldering iron and give your joints a good do-over, it’s the quickest solution.
If you post some pictures from your Crack’s insides, the Bottlehead crew could tell you if any of your solder joints look flaky.

If I tap the crack it will make it stop (briefly)
That is indeed usually a flaky solder joint.
