I made a 220V Crack with Speedball for a client in Saudi Arabia. He says the volume is low and needs to be at 75% to 85% to get enough volume. What's the reason for this?

Is his source turned all the way up? Is he plugging a turntable right into the Crack?

Here was his response
"Here is my setup chain :
PC > USB > Chord Hugo 2 > Chord Signature RCA Cable > BH crack
Usually i use my Hugo at standard 2 volt output , i just used the line out setting which output 3v and volume is better (around 50-60%)
but i think its still high if i use regular dac output
headphone tested , HD540 (600ohm), HD250L2 (600ohm),HD424 (600ohm), "

600 ohm phones are going to require a little bit higher setting of the volume knob than 300 ohm phones.

Thanks Doc. I just let him know.
There's one other thing which I'm sure has no relation to the volume but just to make sure... I had to ask him to cut the short red wire which I forgot to cut at 15 and 18 when I was configuring it from 120v to 220v. He's not able to desolder the remaining solder and wire. Would this affect the amp at all?
