Hi all,
I'd like to replace the pot and have been offered a good deal on a 10k pot. I think the one the kit ships with is 100k?
My question is will this be a problem? If so, is there anything I can do to mitigate the issue?
Thanks!

Your source components may not appreciate the 10K load, I know several of mine wouldn't!
You can add a 50K-100K resistor in series with each input of the pot to increase the input impedance.

Thank you! May pass then and buy something more suitable. Do the resistors affect the sound quality at all?

That is the subject of many heated debates online, but in your case I would say that having a more optimal load for your sources will be more important in terms of sound quality than worrying about two resistors in the signal path.
