Anybody tried these tubes.

They claim to have thoriated tungsten filaments which could be a very good thing.
Much cheaper than the Elrog 300b with thoriated tungsten.
Sadly, I cannot afford them right now but they could be good.

"can withstand the test of Salt"
A prized quality for salty dogs who enjoy music on the high seas. "Arrr, matey, now there's a seaworthy tube worth many a doubloon."

I was thinking of salt test that is a little more dry.

I would strongly advise against using those until a datasheet is published.
There is a Chinese 845 with an oxide filament that has been for sale for a while, and the filament current required is vastly different than what an 845 would want, so it's a sketchy substitution at best!

How does the phrase go? Smoke em if you got em?
They Elrog’s sounded great to my ears but lasted less than a year. I’ll stick to EML and the tried and true EH tubes. I learned my expensive lesson.

Thoriated tungsten DHT's do generally use more current than oxide coated. So that is something to be carefully checked out.
