Title: S.E.X. 3.0 Chassis Plate Dimensions

While I anxiously await arrival of my S.E.X. 3.0 kit, I plan to start construction of a custom wood frame (think exotic wood, box joints..). I understand that the aluminum chassis plate is supposed to be 10â€³ X 8â€³ x.080. However, for the purposes of ensuring a good fit in the custom frame, I would appreciate any confirmation of the as-delivered dimensions of the plate; e.g. is it truly 10.00" X 8.00", or more like 10.10" X 8.10", etc.?

Post by: Paul Birkeland on December 23, 2018, 01:00:54 PM: It is laser cut to 8" x 10". I think the machine holds a tolerance of a few thousands of an inch.
