Hi all. I just started my crack build today. I'm hoping to clear up some confusion on the initial powerline voltage test.
The manual states that the multimeter leads should be connected to N and L of the IEC inlet. However, when I perform the voltage test in this manner, I only get about 0.6 volts. If however, I move one of the leads over to the long metal strip on the other side of the IEC inlet, I get a more reasonable reading (121.6V).
I already performed the next step for the power transformer input wiring at less than 115V AC. However, when I perform that next set of voltage checks, I also get very small readings (0.4V and 0.2V), rather than the expected readings of 6.5V and 175V. All measurements were done in AC mode.
Can anyone help me figure out what I am doing wrong with my voltage tests? Thanks.

Did you install the fuse? This is covered on page 23.

Yes I did install the fuse.

I would remove the fuse and check to see if it's blown. The initial symptoms you describe are only possible with a missing, blown, or improperly installed fuse.

Good news, I replaced the fuse and now it works. Thanks!
