Title: Chrome Plating

Thinking about getting the plate on my crack chrome plated. Any tips? Like what thickness, conductive issues, etc.

I would suggest calling around to see if anyone in your area will chrome plate aluminum, then ask what it will cost.  Plating aluminum is reasonably difficult, so you may want to consider just polishing the chassis plate instead.

A friend of mine wanted chrome plating but found it was not durable. He finally went with nickel which worked a lot better for him.
