Title: Speedball Update One Number Just a Tiny Bit Over
Post by: tim273 on May 25, 2019, 04:17:56 PM
Hey every one, so I installed the speedball this weekend, sounds awesome by the way.  Just a quick note, one of the numbers is just a tiny bit over.  OA measured at 111.6 which is just a tiny bit over the 10% (75-100) listed. All the other ones are right in line with where they should be, the resistance check was fine and all the LED's are lit.

There aren't any problems that I can tell and it sounds just fine, so I just thought I'd check.

I've had it on for about an hour or so and still sounds just fine.

Thanks,
Tim

That is rather high, assuming of course that there's a 12AU7 in the socket.  If the LEDs on the 9 pin socket appear to be evenly lit, I wouldn't worry too much about this.  It wouldn't hurt to reheat the joints on that side of the C4S board, especially those on the MJE350.
