Title: How do I change the Crack from 120v - 220v?
Post by: Unclericky on June 10, 2019, 12:14:36 PM
Hey guys just wondering how would I change the voltage setting from 120v to 220v on the Crack? I have no experience with building these as I bought this preowned... Is it an easy process or would I be better off using a transformer? Thanks!

Which Crack?  1.0 or 1.1?

1.1. I'm buying one prebuilt and it seems its harder than flicking a switch changing it from 110v to 220v? Thanks

You'd have to rewire the powertransformer (which is fairly easy, if you can solder) or have someone do it for you.
The manual should be provided with the sale of the amp. It shows you how to setup the PT for your line voltage.

Yes, the manual tells you how to do this.  Never, ever, ever buy a built Bottlehead kit without the manual.
